Power Struggle

Here at Men's Ministry UK, we want to reframe what many men view as the Biblical view of power. Men's Ministry UK is here to challenge the conventional wisdom in some churches such as the belief that a man is "master" over his wife. While scripture does say, "wives, submit to your husband,” there’s much more to that idea. The verse goes on to say, "husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church." This means a husband should sacrifice himself completely to his bride, putting her needs before his own, living for a higher purpose, and eventually submitting his very life to her.

Being a real christian man, requires self-examination. And honesty over subjects such as sex, pornography, and gender stereotypes.

The purpose of Men's Ministry UK is to support men to become Godly men. Not christian-macho men, nor modern-metro-men, but who you should be, just you, a Godly man. In Matthew 24:12-13, Jesus says, "12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved." 

Stand firm to the end brothers, there might be an increase in wickedness, lies and sin, but together, speaking about our sins and our shortcomings and our secrets, God will work in our hearts and in our lives as men, to make us right with Him, standing firm to the very end. 

It might sound challenging, but just sharing with another Christian brother how you have sinned is the true power. The true power stuggle is really no struggle at all, it is actually giving all power over to God, following Him, and not letting the Devil to pursuade you otherwise with clever words of sinful desires.
